Kendell Ameech who was wanted by both RCMP and Saskatoon Police has been arrested.
On Monday Pelican Narrows RCMP located and arrested Kendell Ameech in Pelican Narrows. He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court later this week.
Last week Saskatoon Police asked the public for information on Ameech, who is the third suspect in the Melissa Duquette homicide investigation.
The 24-year-old woman was found dead in the basement of a property in the 32 hundred block of 33rd Street West on April 15th. She is the city’s seventh homicide victim of 2024.
Pelican Narrows RCMP also issued a news release saying Ameech was wanted on multiple counts of assault with a weapon and weapons related charges which occurred between March and July this year.
