There has been no Saskatoon EX parade since the pandemic, and then last year there was road construction downtown, but it is back to kick off the Exhibition Tuesday morning at 10.
The route hasn’t changed. From Spadina, the route heads down 24th Street to 4th Avenue and then down to 20th Street and heading over to Spadina Crescent and back up to the starting point.
The gates open to the Ex at Prairieland at noon and runs daily from noon to midnight through Sunday.
Manager of Signature Events at Prairieland, Susan Kuzma, says one thing to keep in mind is extra security was added last year and that continues.
Once you have your admission, you will go through a metal detector and your bags will be searched.
Kuzma states that the fewer bags you bring, the quicker you will make it through the line and into the fair.
She suggests checking out their website to see what isn’t allowed on the grounds.
Once inside, you have access to free entertainment, Kidsville and the regular midway rides, food of every description, art displays, shopping and air conditioning indoors if needed.
