From a three-week drug trafficking investigation, the Saskatoon Police Service arrested three people and seized a 9mm semi-automatic rifle, two prohibited 31-round magazines, 250 rounds of ammunition, about 50 grams of suspected fentanyl, meth and GHB, along with $1750, multiple knives and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking from search warrants at two locations. They were in the 300 block of 29th Street West and the 2300 block of Millar Avenue.
A 40-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges which include possession for the purpose of trafficking, multiple weapons-related offences and possession of false identity documents. Two Saskatoon women, 40 and 44-year-old, are also facing multiple firearms-related charges.
