The Saskatoon Police Service says their Collision Analyst Unit is investigating after an accident last night involving a police vehicle.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Thursday a marked police vehicle with two Constables inside, was hit while travelling through the intersection of 27th Street West and Avenue C North.
Both officers were extricated from the vehicle by the Saskatoon Fire Department.
Preliminary investigation has determined that the police vehicle was on regular patrol travelling north on Avenue C North with the right-of-way when a civilian vehicle travelling west on 27th Street West disobeyed a traffic sign and collided with the passenger side of the police vehicle causing it to overturn.
The police say there were no serious injuries to the Constables or civilians as a result of the crash.
