The Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation is getting a leg up with their “It Starts Here” campaign with one hundred percent of proceeds from the Vic Dubois’ Retirement Breakfast going to the Foundation. The campaign is raising $3million for a new CT scanner. In 2022-23 the CT scanner at Saskatoon City Hospital saw more than 15,000 individual patients. Tickets are $75 each or $600 for tables of eight.
Foundation CEO Steve Shannon says they want to thank Saskatoon Media Group and in particular company owner Elmer Hildebrand for the proceeds from the breakfast being directed to support the Foundation. The event is 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Friday September 13th and will feature Coffee Talk Live with breakfast at Prairieland Park. It’s a chance to give Vic your boots and salutes, meet new and old friends, enjoy special guests, and take in live entertainment from Matt Johner.
