Two new Saskatchewan schools are moving into the procurement phase of construction.
This week, Saskatoon Public Schools issued a Request for Qualifications to find a qualified contractor to build the Saskatoon City Centre school. Further south, Regina Public Schools and the Regina Catholic School Division have issued an RFQ for Harbour Landing.
Once complete, the Saskatoon school will provide a space to learn for 400 public school students between Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8. The school will also provide 74 new childcare spaces.
At the new southwestern Regina school, up to 500 Regina Public and up to 350 Regina Catholic students will be able to attend, once complete, and 90 new childcare spaces will be provided, as well.
The RFQs are available here.
