Two teens are facing charges in connection to an assault on Friday night.

Police responded to the corner of Avenue Q South and 19th Street West after getting a call of an assault in progress with the caller reporting that a group of teenagers was attacking someone.

Officers located a 54-year-old man suffering from what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital for further treatment.

The investigation led officers to a home in the 400 block of Avenue Q South where it was believed the suspects had entered. As a result, a 15-year-old male and a 14-year-old female were arrested.

The 15-year-old male is facing charges relating to aggravated assault, and failure to comply with court ordered conditions. The 14-year-old is facing charges relating to breaching court ordered conditions.
