Woman seriously injured outside a North Battleford business dies from her injuries

The Saskatchewan RCMP has released a few more details about the increased police presence in the 900 block of 101st Street in that city. Around 10:30 Wednesday night, officers responded to a report that someone had been seriously injured outside a business in that area. A 63-year-old woman from Red Pheasant First Nation, Pearl Benson, was transported to hospital by EMS but she later died. Her family has been notified.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or submit an anonymous tip through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
