Trivia lovers across the province will be excited to learn about a new card game being launched by a small business in Winnipeg.
Connor Wielgosz with Glass Jar Games says last year, he and his best friend created Trivia Mix: Manitoba. It received so many great reviews that the duo decided to create a Saskatchewan version.
He says the trivia questions are far from generic and aim to teach players fun facts about the province they live in.
‘For Saskatchewan, it was doing a lot of research on what people are saying, not only in popular places, but also places like Reddit. (We wanted to know) what do you love about Saskatchewan, and then going down those rabbit holes.”
For example, which of these body parts is not featured in the name of a Saskatchewan community: elbow, shoulder, jaw, or eyebrow?
The games are both eco-friendly and Canadian, as the duo researches the questions, creates the questions, prints the card, cuts them out, packages them in eco-friendly wrapping and then ships them to buyers.
Since the pair handcrafts the trivia cards themself, inventory is limited, but the games will be available both online at glassjargames.ca and at the Third and Bird Market in Saskatoon on November 2nd and 3rd.
