A drug investigation that wrapped up last Thursday has led to the arrest of 14 people and so far 36 charges have been laid relating to drug and weapon offences.
Members of the Tactical Support Unit (TSU) and Patrol assisted the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) in executing two search warrants, one at a home in the 100 block of Avenue E South, and the other at a business in the 1400 block of 22nd Street West.
Among the items seized was $2313 in Canadian currency, 216.9 grams of methamphetamine, 56.5 grams of fentanyl, 1.6 grams of psilocybin, brass knuckles, three tasers, two prohibited sawed-off shotguns, 9mm carbine, two pistols, four cans of bear spray, numerous edged weapons, one air powered crossbow, two collapsible batons and ammunition.
