A woman faces 14 counts of mischief under five thousand dollars after an early Monday morning vandalism spree in the Rosewood neighbourhood.
A Saskatoon Police Service news release says officers were called to the 100 block of Pichler Crescent at about 2 a.m. on November 11 for a report of a person using bat to break vehicle windows. Upon arrival, police located a 42-year-old woman, matching the description of the suspect, and arrested her without further incident. Officers located a knife in her possession and found a baseball bat at the scene. Further investigation by police revealed 14 vehicles had been damaged while it is believed she swung the bat at another person. In addition to the 14 counts of mischief under five thousand dollars, the suspect faces charges of possession of a weapon, concealing a weapon and assault with a weapon.
