A 29-year-old Saskatoon man has been arrested and charged with six firearms-related incidents following an investigation conducted by the Saskatoon Police Service on Wednesday. An S-P-S news release said they were informed on Wednesday of a man believed to be in possession of a weapon inside a home in the 600 block of Duchess Street.
Officers executed a search warrant on the address at around 8:45 p.m. and arrested several people inside. All persons arrested and detained during the search were released without charges, with the exception of the 29-year-old man.
During the search, police located and seized a pump-action shotgun and ammunition, officers also seized soft body armor, a cattle prod, and a .177 calibre pellet rifle.
