The 2024 Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships continue today and run through Sunday in Barrie, Ontario. There are 14 women’s teams and 14 men’s teams taking part from all provinces and territories, including Saskatchewan. The teams in each gender division are split into two pools of seven teams each for preliminary round-robin play. That is followed by the top eight teams advancing to the modified double knock-out playoffs. Saskatchewan is represented by the Samantha Yachiw foursome from the Saskatoon-Sutherland club on the women’s side. They have 3 wins, 1 loss…good for 2nd place in Pool A. On the men’s side, Saskatchewan is represented by the Aaron Shutra quartet from the Saskatoon-Nutana club. They have 2 wins, 3 losses…good for 5th place in Pool B. On their schedules today…
