Saskatchewan Research Council employees, industry client groups and community collaborators from across the province had the chance to see all of the innovation that is going on with the SRC and its leading-edge products and services at its first Tech Expo.
SRC is Canada’s second largest research and technology organization with 1,400 clients in 22 countries, helping to solve technology problems, develop new markets and increase productivity. Minister Responsible for SRC, Warren Kaeding (kay ding), says the Tech Expo is a great opportunity to showcase the positive impacts SRC is making internationally.
A news release from the SRC says those who attended learned about their innovative laboratories and ground-breaking services in the areas of lithium processing, environmental remediation, ore sorting, a variety of energy transition and climate services and other projects. The Expo also highlighted the SRC’s microreactor project and its rare earth processing facility, which is under construction in north Saskatoon.
