A second male has been arrested and charged in connection to the February 2 shooting death of 32-year-old Jordan Wright in his residence in North Battleford.
A Saskatchewan R-C-M-P news release says the second male is a 17-year-old youth from Saskatoon, who cannot be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He was arrested last Thursday in Regina and charged with one count of manslaughter and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He appeared in Regina Provincial Court on Friday. The first male, 26-year-old Xavier Lonesinger of North Battleford was arrested on December 7 at the Saskatoon Provincial Corrections Centre and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court on December 9. Saskatchewan R-C-M-P Major Crimes continue to investigate and ask that anyone with information about Jordan Wright’s death to report it to the R-C-M-P or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
