The Prince Albert Police Service says officers responded to a report of a disturbance Saturday where they were told a man was inside a hospitality business yelling and screaming.
This was at 7:50 p.m. in the 600 block of Marquis Road East.
Officers located the man in the custody of security staff and they say while he resisted arrest, he was taken into custody shortly after.
The police investigation gleaned that prior to police arriving the suspect allegedly try to stab someone with a pen.
A 33-year-old man is charged with assault with a weapon, resisting or obstructing a peace officer and breaching court ordered conditions.
