A farmer and agricultural input dealer from west-central Saskatchewan has written a book for the average grocery shopper.
Dennis Bulani from Biggar wrote “What a farmer wants you to know about food” after attending a major entrepreneurs conference in Arizona. One of the speakers made several remarks denigrating food production that Bulani says were untrue. It inspired him to author a book that explains why consumers can trust the food they buy at the grocery store and serve to their families.
CJWW Agriculture Director Neil Billinger spoke to Dennis Bulani, who is also the CEO of The Rack––a Saskatchewan based independent agricultural services retail business, on Tuesday, January 7th. Bulani will have a book signing at McNally Robinson in Saskatoon at 7pm on Thursday, January 9th. Copies of the book will also be available at the Western Canadian Crop Production Show from Jan 14-16.
Bulani also suggests checking out the website called Trust Your Plate.com
