Thousand of farmers, as well as the people and companies that supply the agricultural sector, are in Saskatoon this week.
The Western Canadian Crop Production runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Prairieland.
Equipment, new technology, crop inputs, marketing specialists and other agricultural services are on display.
SaskAgtoday.com Chief Agricultural Editors Kevin Hursh says farmers will be looking for deals as they attempt to stretch budgets during a period of lower grain, oilseed and pulse crop prices.
Hursh says the Crop Production Show is a great place to chat with people that you may only see once or twice a year.
Booth locations and the NuFarm Information Theatre Agenda can be viewed here.
Also on tap Tuesday and Wednesday will be the Saskatchewan Crops Forum at the Western Development Museum. The various crop development commission will hold annual general meetings and there will be featured speakers and panels. More information on that can be found here.
