A drug trafficking investigation in Saskatoon has ended with the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team arresting one man from Saskatoon.
The 33-year-old man faces charges relating to drugs and possession of the proceeds of crime. According to a Saskatoon Police Service news release, around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday night, officers began enforcement action in the south alley of the 700 block of 5th Street East on a man believed to be involved in a dial-a-dope drug trafficking investigation.
The suspect was arrested, and CRT members say they located cash and multiple cell phones on his person while packaged cocaine was located on the ground a short distance from him. A search warrant was then executed at an address in the 100 block of Edmund Park with 10 grams of powdered cocaine packaged for sale, three cell phones and $4,360 dollars in cash seized (pictured).
