Saskatoon Police responded to an assault in progress near Midtown mall around 11 a.m. Thursday.
A 64-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Police investigation determined that three teens approached the victim, who was sitting on a bench at the time, and became confrontational towards him. One person was seen to have struck the victim multiple ties before all three suspects fled inside the Midtown. While suspects haven’t been located, police have identified persons of interest.
The suspects and victim are not believed to be known to each other.
