The Kinsmen Water Park in Prince Albert was the scene of a rescue on Wednesday afternoon.
The City of Prince Albert says in a news release that lifeguards responded to an unconscious 9 year old child in the main pool and successfully administered CPR.
The child was alert when paramedics arrived and the child with an adult family member were transported to hospital to be treated.
The City of Prince Albert reminds the public about the Water Park’s adult supervision policy which states that children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water, within arm’s reach at all times.
Children ages 8 to 10 must be accompanied by an adult in the park.
