I-Racing has come to Saskatoon…specifically the racers of Wyant Group Raceway.
The first of six events was run virtually Sunday night with 17 drivers from W-G-R competing in what is known as the Saskatchewan Stock Car Racing Championship. Each driver customized their own vehicle to look like the ones they hope to race at WGR this season. Kevin Dyck held off Rick Morneau and Jeremy Brooks to take the first race over 100 laps. The local group will race the Street Stock Division this Sunday at 7 p.m…streamed on-line through social media. Check out the “Sports in Conversation” podcast for Dave Thomas’ post-race conversation with Kevin Dyck.
