The province is encouraging Saskatchewan residents to celebrate Canada Day virtually this year.
To help everyone celebrate, the Provincial Capital Commission has posted songs, dance, poems and spoken word pieces from a variety of Saskatchewan artists. The artists include the likes of Jess Moskaluke and the Hunter Brothers.
There are also downloadable colouring pages for kids, the lyrics to O-Canada, Indigenous drumming and dance and an Elder’s prayer.
Canada Day in Saskatoon
There will not be the traditional Canada Day fireworks display at Diefenbaker Park in Saskatoon but there will be all kinds of Canada Day entertainment, only it is virtual. The Saskatoon Optimist Canada Day 2020 is virtual and features a message from Brett Kissel as well as a full line up of Saskatchewan artists.
